An appointment with the practice nurse to discuss which vaccinations you may need for travel abroad. The initial appointment should be made at least eight weeks before travel so vaccines can be ordered. A second appointment is required to receive the vaccinations and should be at least two weeks before travel. Some travel vaccines are provided on a private prescription and may cost more than the normal prescription charge.
