AMPED is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, vibrant and savvy travel professional to plan and sell worldwide ski holiday packages and service customers. Duties include being the first point of contact for FIT and group enquiries, providing ski resort and holiday destination options in person, by phone and via webchat, and managing and processing client files and holiday requirements. Applicants should have a proven intermediate or senior travel consultancy background, be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, have creative sales and customer service skills, GDS knowledge with Amadeus preferred, Excel and Word skills, strong attention to detail, professional business writing, problem-solving skills, a professional telephone manner and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks. The successful candidate will understand international airfares and GDS, have at least 2 years of travel consultant experience, hold a Level 4 Certificate in Travel or a completed business degree, and be legally able to work in New Zealand. The role offers $60,000 to $70,000 plus uncapped commission and perks, discounted travel including offshore ski resort experiences, an Albany location, an existing customer database and career growth opportunities.
