Teaching at Bute House is rewarding, with enthusiastic pupils who enjoy being challenged. Teachers work in well-resourced classrooms, with opportunities to develop their skills through internal appraisal systems, inset courses and individual subject specialist courses. Assistants support each teacher, and new staff are appointed a mentor. All employees must promote and safeguard the welfare of children and comply with the Bute House Safeguarding Child Protection Policy. Prospective employees must undergo rigorous safeguarding screening procedures.
