Responsible for day-to-day inspections, documentation, and coordination of underground geotechnical and safety programs at the Lee's Summit location, as well as assigned general maintenance services. Duties include managing geotechnical safety readings through instrumentation and Excel data entry, coordinating annual safety inspections and documentation, manually scaling ceilings, assisting with mining consultants, coordinating with geotechnical project contractors, implementing safety programs, and performing general maintenance assignments. Requires 2+ years of maintenance technician experience, preferably in an underground or industrial environment, knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, detailed record-keeping, strong communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, the ability to work unsupervised, and spreadsheet and Microsoft Word proficiency. AutoCAD skills are preferred, and applicants must be able to pass a government background check.
