The Program in Islamic Law is seeking research assistants to subcite articles selected for publication in the Journal of Islamic Law. Each assignment involves approximately 10 hours of work per article, with citations formatted according to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation. Each research assistant will be assigned one article, or at most two, depending on availability. Applicants must submit a one-paragraph statement of interest, CV or resume, and evidence of familiarity with The Bluebook. Prior journal experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must be available for the virtual subcite weekend February 13 to 15, 2026, and a brief online orientation in the first or second week of February.
