The Matheson Scholarship in Law Plus is open to first year Law Plus students at the University of Limerick. The recipient receives a bursary of €5,000 and a position on the Matheson First Step Programme. Applicants must complete a short application form and submit a summary of no more than 1,000 words explaining why they should receive the scholarship. The programme supports students in developing their potential for future summer intern and trainee lawyer programmes. Applications close on 1 April 2026.
