An individually tailored assessment for adults and older adults aged 18 years and over. It typically involves an interview and standardised testing across cognitive skills including attention and concentration, speed of thinking, new learning and memory, language, visuospatial functions, and executive functions such as planning, problem solving and reasoning. Assessments are completed over a series of sessions and may take 4 to 8 hours depending on the reason for assessment. Suitable for people with brain injury, neurological or neurodegenerative conditions, autoimmune or inflammatory diseases, learning disorders, intellectual disabilities, or cognitive concerns. Prepare by writing down questions, booking for a time when you feel most alert, bringing glasses or hearing aids, and providing previous medical or psychological assessment results if available.
