Vineyard Theatre seeks a senior fundraising leader to direct the vision, strategy, and execution of all contributed revenue activities. Reporting to the Artistic Director and Managing Producer, the Director will develop multi-year fundraising strategies, lead individual and institutional giving, major gifts, foundations, government support, corporate partnerships, planned giving, special events, and campaign activity. Responsibilities include partnering with executive leadership and the Board of Directors, cultivating and stewarding leadership donors, leading the annual Gala benefit and auction, overseeing grant strategy and reporting, managing the Development team, and strengthening fundraising systems and operations. Candidates should have seven or more years of progressively responsible fundraising leadership, ideally in the arts or nonprofit sector, demonstrated success leading teams and growing contributed revenue, experience securing and stewarding five and six figure gifts, experience partnering with executive leadership and governing boards, strong relationship-building, communication, and strategic planning skills, CRM and data experience, and a passion for the performing arts. This is a full-time, exempt position requiring evening and weekend work.
