Based in Stirling, Scotland. The Project Manager manages translation projects from client quotation acceptance through to delivery. Duties include selecting and securing appropriate linguists from the freelancer network, considering project requirements and specialist technical expertise, building relationships and networking internally and externally, negotiating translation rates with linguists, quality checking linguist submissions for accurate formatting, challenging unsatisfactory submissions, and managing consecutive projects simultaneously while multitasking with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The role requires a strong command of written and spoken English, a high level of attention to detail when completing and checking work, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while managing key stakeholder expectations.
