Safely transport special needs students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities. Build rapport with students and parents, oversee loading and unloading, secure safety belts, wheelchair straps, and harnesses, operate wheelchair lifts and van equipment when required, conduct daily safety inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness and records, report repairs and route delays, communicate respectfully with passengers, school officials, parents or guardians, and the public, and follow student disciplinary and safety policies. Applicants must have three years of driving experience, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a Massachusetts CORI check. On-site training is provided to obtain a 7-D license at the company's headquarters in Taunton, Massachusetts.
