Rental of violins, violas, cellos and double basses, all originating in Europe before 1930 and carefully restored to professional standards. Specific adjustments and strings for Baroque music or jazz are available upon request. A complete orchestral double bass section of up to 10 instruments can be provided with the same type of string. Five-string basses have limited string selection. Bows must be rented separately. Standard rental fees usually apply, while higher-valued instruments are rented for a percentage of the instrument's value. A small number of instruments for younger pupils are also available in smaller sizes. Appointments are required.
