Manage a set of clients and associated tasks day to day, with a focus on meeting deadlines, communicating with the team and ensuring clients are happy to be working with Future Advisory. The role includes preparing BAS, ITRs and financial statements, reviewing BAS and individual ITRs, assisting with tax planning, VCFO and management reporting meetings, responding to client queries for Senior Accountant approval, tracking weekly utilisation, reviewing and allocating mail, and supporting the development of accounting policies, procedures and operational strategies. The Accountant takes direction from the Senior Accountant and Manager and is expected to proactively suggest improvements to client systems, processes, system efficiencies and business practices. The position is suited to someone who is not a graduate and is not yet at Senior Accountant level, but wants to progress in the future.
