Lead the firm's sustainability practice, including strategy, education, design support, advocacy, and mentorship related to environmental and social sustainability and resiliency. Work with firm leadership to define sustainability goals, collaborate with design staff, attend client meetings, facilitate design charrettes, refine project delivery and design processes, and quantify project sustainability metrics. Responsibilities include developing firm-wide sustainability and resiliency strategies, leading the Sustainability Working Group, developing environmental and social sustainability metrics, managing sustainability sub-consultants, supporting marketing efforts, preparing sustainability materials, attending interviews, developing scopes of service, mentoring staff, and conducting internal training. The firm values experience delivering high-performance buildings, LEED or other professional accreditations, building performance analytics, and a background in architecture, design, or sustainable science related fields.
