Work closely with the Pillar VC investing team across sourcing, diligence, decision-making, and portfolio support. Responsibilities include finding emerging founders through conferences, online communities, universities, labs, and outbound efforts; meeting founders and prospective customers; researching markets, competitive landscapes, and technology; sourcing topic experts for due diligence; developing investment theses; synthesizing expert perspectives; and publishing findings for the community. The role is suited to someone passionate about helping companies start and grow, with a strong executive presence, business mindset, fascination with science and technology, technical curiosity, networking ability, strong writing and communication skills, analytical ability, and a self-starting approach.
