The Smith School is looking for educators who are confident in their content area knowledge, adept with integrating technology, invigorated by collaboration, and experienced in implementing differentiated instruction for students with a range of learning needs. New York State Certification and a master's degree related to the teaching specialty are highly encouraged, while relevant experience and expertise may be cultivated through varied professional and educational backgrounds. Teaching employees are supported by the Learning Specialist, service providers, counseling department, colleagues, and the administrative team.
