Bob's Containers is seeking an experienced buyer or a self-motivated individual ready to learn procurement. The role involves creating material and parts lists, purchasing materials, tracking and storing parts, ordering from suppliers, developing and automating purchasing processes, communicating with suppliers and teams, qualifying vendors, maintaining vendor profiles, negotiating with vendors and contractors, and working with finance and operations. The Buyer reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Purchasing, real estate, procurement, spending, and construction experience are valued, although construction experience is not required. Strong verbal, written, presentation, organizational, multitasking, time-management, and teamwork skills are required.
