Singer's Edge is looking for supportive, upbeat vocal coaches with academic or professional experience in contemporary music, including pop, rock and R&B. Coaches receive training upon hiring through the school's innovative training program and may begin as substitute teachers, often progressing to regular studio hours. Responsibilities include teaching students, preparing them for twice annual performances, following Academy policies, maintaining a professional attitude and appearance, and demonstrating care for students' musical growth. The school manages billing, collections, scheduling, student recruitment, advertising and payment by direct deposit, and provides a beautiful studio environment, orientation support, professional development resources and complimentary voice-program training. Applicants should be available to teach through the summer. The hiring process includes an interview, live musical performance review, criminal background check, reference check, school observation and meeting with the administrative team.
