Lead a small team and provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Aboriginal Health Directorate, reporting to the General Manager, Monash Health Community. Responsibilities include advising executives and managers on Aboriginal health matters, implementing and developing the Reconciliation Action Plan, engaging internal and external stakeholders to support culturally sensitive services, and identifying service improvement opportunities. Applicants should hold a relevant degree, understand issues affecting Aboriginal healthcare, employment, education and culture, and demonstrate senior leadership, stakeholder engagement, communication, consultation, process improvement and change management skills. Experience in mainstream health services and Aboriginal community services is preferred.
