Based in Stirling, Scotland, the Supplier Relations Manager will join the operations team and manage London Translations' network of more than 10,000 freelance linguists. Responsibilities include negotiating prices with freelance linguists, sourcing linguists for projects, working with quality management to ensure a high-quality service, creating forecast models for language combinations and sector requirements, recruiting and retaining freelance linguists, building relationships with valued linguists, and assessing applicants through test translations. A second language is highly desirable but not required. The role requires fluent English, excellent verbal and written communication skills, business acumen, commercial awareness, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, attention to detail, strong organisational and prioritisation skills, and a degree. A background in procurement or buying is highly desirable.
