Join NTSCORP's Legal Team in a full-time role based in Redfern, NSW, involving travel to regional NSW and the ACT. The role includes preparing and prosecuting native title claims, representing native title groups in negotiation, mediation and litigation, negotiating Indigenous Land Use Agreements and other agreements, notifying Traditional Owners of activities affecting native title rights or cultural heritage, providing advice on corporate structures and governance, and preparing policy submissions. Applicants require a tertiary qualification in law, a restricted or unrestricted practising certificate, a minimum of 1 to 2 years post-admission experience, strong oral and written communication skills, capacity to work in a multidisciplinary team, budgeting and decision-making skills, demonstrated commitment and initiative, knowledge of and genuine interest in native title, understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal societies and culture, capacity to work with Aboriginal communities, computer skills, and a driver's licence with willingness to travel.
