Deliver accredited English as an Additional Language programs to culturally and linguistically diverse adult learners. Responsibilities include planning and delivering learner-centred adult education, maintaining accurate learner and assessment records, conducting and documenting assessments, providing learner feedback, collaborating with teaching and administration staff, participating in professional development, and supporting a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment. The role requires experience delivering accredited training, preferably in EAL, an understanding of adult learning principles and diverse learner needs, knowledge of national training package requirements, strong organisational and communication skills, digital literacy, and the ability to work independently and respond to short-notice teaching needs. Teachers must hold the specified TESOL and teaching qualifications, including at least a 22 day teaching practicum, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or accepted equivalent. A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check are required for successful applicants. The sessional role is covered by the Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2010, with pay based on qualifications and experience. Working pattern is Mondays, with an opportunity for emergency teaching.
