Details.

High-concentration trichloroacetic acid is applied directly into individual ice-pick and narrow boxcar scars to trigger controlled chemical injury and new collagen formation. Best suited to ice-pick scars and narrow boxcar scars, and not appropriate for rolling, hypertrophic or keloid scars or active acne. Typically requires 2 to 6 sessions every 4 to 6 weeks. Recovery involves small scabs for 7 to 10 days.
