A 12-month fellowship beginning in Fall 2027 for recent law school graduates and early-career attorneys interested in emerging technology, privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, online platforms, technology regulation, and public policy. Fellows work alongside attorneys on client counseling, investigations, litigation, regulatory matters, cybersecurity incidents, consumer protection issues, research, writing, speaking engagements, thought leadership, and industry conversations. Candidates are expected to have graduated from law school before the program starts, have taken or plan to take a bar examination near the beginning of the Fellowship, be able to work out of the DC office, and be eligible to apply for admission to the DC Bar. Strong candidates typically demonstrate interest in technology and emerging legal frameworks, intellectual curiosity, strong research, writing and analytical skills, clear communication, collaboration, and a willingness to engage across disciplines. The position includes a reduced annual billable target of 1,250 hours, with a salary range of $115,000 to $125,000. Fellows may later be invited to join ZwillGen in a full-time attorney role or receive support pursuing opportunities in technology law and policy.
