Provide supervised individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, consultation and outreach, assessments, intakes, and appropriate referrals. The internship focuses especially on working with children ages 1 to 13 and requires an active, enthusiastic candidate with a positive attitude, flexible work style, and high energy. Responsibilities include conducting intake interviews, completing same-day electronic documentation, providing counseling and outreach workshops, consulting with supervisors, staff, schools and parents, attending weekly training and supervision, and interacting professionally and ethically with staff and clients. The practicum is a full-time, 20-hour-per-week commitment.
