Teach course sections each quarter for the online branch of the Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, with appointments based on program needs and instructor availability. Responsibilities include providing synchronous instruction for online master's-level courses, incorporating integrative systemic theory and diversity, equity, and inclusion into course material, facilitating weekly 90-minute sessions for groups of 15 or fewer students, following course plans, grading and returning assignments within two weeks, responding to correspondence within 48 hours, supporting students, submitting grades, attending occasional faculty meetings, participating in remediation and retention efforts, maintaining professional activity, and promoting MFT identity. Applicants should have an MFT identity or related mental health background, teaching ability in the MFT discipline, cultural competence, strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills, and reliable high-speed internet and computer access. Minimum qualifications include an advanced degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline, two or more years of graduate-level teaching or clinical supervision experience, systemic clinical practice experience, and active clinical licensure in the home state or the ability to obtain it.
