Provides protection from non-payment of rent and the costs of an eviction process. Rent is paid to the landlord until vacant possession is regained, except where the tenant provides a valid defence to the eviction, when payments are capped at 12 months. Includes mediation to help recover the property sooner. If mediation fails, the policy covers legal proceedings until vacant possession is regained. An extra 75% of the rent is paid for up to 3 months after the property becomes vacant if it cannot be re-let due to tenant damage or neglect. Up to £100,000 cover for any one claim. Monthly prices are £30 for rents up to £1,500, £35 for rents of £1,500 to £2,500, £49 for rents of £2,501 to £5,000, and £59 for rents of £5,001 to £8,000.
