Coinme is seeking a Senior Engineer to build software and integrations for accepting, disseminating, and liquidating fiat and cryptocurrency funds for customer transactions. Responsibilities include designing solutions for complex technical and business problems, developing scalable software systems and components, writing maintainable code, authoring unit and integration tests, participating in architecture discussions, delivering features with cross-functional stakeholders, driving engineering excellence and operational stability, mentoring engineers, and contributing to recruiting. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, 5 or more years of software development experience, scalable services and distributed systems experience in Java or a similar object-oriented language, technical design experience, Agile development experience, and strong communication skills. Required technology skills include Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or similar technology, RESTful APIs, MySQL, and Kubernetes or cloud development platforms. Experience with financial services, CQRS, Event Sourcing, event-driven design, Axon Framework, MongoDB, and AWS is beneficial.
