The Gateway Development Commission is seeking a senior attorney or compliance administrator to support the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer on transportation related compliance matters, including public procurement, infrastructure capital and finance related contract administration, federal loans and grants, applicable federal regulations, public meetings laws, ethics, contract compliance, FTA and FRA grant compliance, BAB loan compliance, and EEO compliance. Responsibilities include advising on contractual obligations for the Hudson Tunnel Project, collaborating with GDC departments and outside counsel, supporting compliance with laws, bylaws and policies, performing Board Secretary duties when needed, supporting EEO investigations, assisting with risk based audit plans, reviewing disclosures and conflicts of interest, maintaining compliance records, delivering training, and reviewing outside counsel invoices. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of relevant experience are required. The role requires at least five years of transportation industry compliance experience, at least seven years of progressively responsible compliance experience, experience with New York or New Jersey open public meetings laws, strong drafting, project management, communication, analytical and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Adobe and compliance related software.
