The LPN performs clinical support tasks for providers treating private pediatric patients in a busy office, including taking vital signs, changing bandages, administering medications, monitoring patient behavior, performing routine EKGs, providing phlebotomy services, preparing specimens, assisting with office procedures, administering injections and immunizations, documenting vaccines and lab results, maintaining immunization logs, preparing exam rooms, collecting patient histories, monitoring medication response, supporting patients with personal hygiene, providing emotional support, and reporting changes in symptoms or behavior. Requirements include completion of a state-approved LPN education program, a current LPN license, valid CPR certification, previous clinical or healthcare experience, Microsoft Suite and data entry skills, knowledge of healthcare standards and procedures, EMR experience with eCW preferred, English communication skills, and flexibility for rotating weekends and holidays.
