Nisei offers hands on training and mentorship, exposure to advanced Japanese techniques, fermentation, sushi, and confectionery, station rotations, quarterly learning trips to partner farms and wineries, and clear growth pathways. Candidates should have one to five or more years of professional kitchen experience, strong knife skills, attention to detail, clean work habits, a genuine interest in Japanese cuisine, and flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and occasional events.
