DSA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead complex structural projects from concept through to construction, mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical excellence of the practice. Responsibilities include leading structural engineering design and delivery, managing project teams, liaising with clients and other stakeholders, preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings, specifications and design reports, ensuring compliance with relevant UK codes and standards, carrying out structural analysis and modelling, conducting design reviews and constructability analyses, leading quality assurance and multidisciplinary coordination, supporting sustainable design and contributing to technical proposals and client presentations. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field, hands-on structural engineering experience delivering complex projects, proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds and Scale, knowledge of UK codes and standards, leadership and mentoring abilities, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Professional Engineer status or an equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential.
