Details.

Injection of a concentrated dextrose solution mixed with a potent local anaesthetic directly into damaged tissue. Used mainly for ligament and tendon injuries, and may also benefit some joint conditions. Provided as part of a booked consultation, with no preparation required. Soft tissue injuries are usually treated with 4 to 5 injections given 3 to 4 weeks apart. Large joints may require repeated injections about 1 month apart, while smaller joints may require injections every 3 to 6 months.
