Provide care and support services to older people according to assessed needs and individual support plans, while promoting independence, well-being and re-ablement. Responsibilities include monitoring client safety, maintaining records, complying with legislation and organisational policies, liaising with stakeholders, supporting social activities, cleaning and domestic assistance, or kitchen support as directed. Applicants must have or be willing to obtain a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, have the physical capacity to complete tasks, communicate effectively, hold or obtain First Aid and CPR certification, undergo police and vulnerable person checks, and have a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle. Previous aged care or disability support experience, strong documentation skills and knowledge of person-centred aged care practices are desirable. At least two current, verifiable referees are required before an employment offer, and employees must maintain a clear Criminal History Check.
