Required from September 2026. Gatehouse School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled practitioner passionate about computing education and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. The role involves planning and delivering progressive computing lessons from EYFS to Year 6 in line with the National Curriculum and EYFS framework, using adaptive teaching to support and challenge all pupils, monitoring progress, developing computing provision, promoting safe and responsible technology use, managing online learning platforms, supporting assessment and tracking systems, and leading enrichment activities such as coding or micro:bit clubs. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent, excellent primary classroom practice including EYFS, strong computing subject knowledge, confidence with digital platforms and technologies, strong organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to supporting pupils' curiosity, creativity, independence and resilience. Experience of leading or contributing to a subject area, particularly computing, is desirable.
