Oversee the onboarding of new clients, manage team workload distribution, forecast workload at least two weeks ahead, monitor work quality and team performance, conduct team and leadership meetings, support staff development, approve leave with Directors, manage team profit and loss, ensure compliance with internal controls, manage the monthly financial close and billing process, contribute to accounting policies and procedures, improve system efficiencies and business practices, act as the point of contact for larger clients, and identify and bill out of scope work. The role requires someone with a strong grasp of numbers and the ability to lead and develop a team while delivering high level accounting work and reviewing junior team members' work.
