Details.
A technologically advanced, minimally invasive surgical vision correction procedure that may allow people to see without glasses or contact lenses. The eye is numbed, the ELITA™ laser creates a small disc-shaped lens called a lenticule in the cornea, the lenticule is removed through a microscopic incision, and the cornea is reshaped to correct vision. An ophthalmologist examines the eyes to determine candidacy. Vision may not be perfect and corrective lenses may still be needed for some activities after the procedure.
