Lead fundraising and communications within the Charity, raise income particularly from major donors, and develop strategies to grow income and outreach. Duties include leading the fundraising strategy, developing a major donor strategy, building and maintaining high net worth relationships, making funding asks, overseeing proposals, managing budgets and pipelines, meeting ambitious six to seven figure income targets, supporting fundraising events, and developing a communications strategy. The role requires senior-level charity fundraising experience, experience devising and implementing fundraising and communications strategies, managing budgets and teams, securing six to seven figure donations, working with senior stakeholders, strong communication, research, analytical, IT and database skills, up-to-date knowledge of data regulations and governance, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and degree-level education. Some meetings and events outside office hours are required.
