Webster Clinic is seeking a thoughtful and clinically engaged part-time child and adolescent psychiatrist for its growing private practice in Boston's Back Bay. The role focuses on depth-oriented clinical work, psychotherapy, careful diagnostic formulation, and sustained relationships with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy, parent guidance, consultation, medication management when clinically indicated, collaboration with schools and clinicians, development of a clinical niche, and participation in peer supervision, clinical mentorship, and case discussion. Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility, an active Massachusetts medical license, interest in longitudinal psychotherapy and psychodynamic thinking, comfort working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, families, or area professionals, commitment to culturally responsive and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and interest in collaboration and professional growth. Webster Clinic provides marketing, billing, scheduling, administrative support, a newly renovated office, mentorship, and professional development support, including possible CME funding and psychoanalytic and psychodynamic training support. The position may expand from part-time to full-time as the psychiatrist's panel grows and mutual fit is established.
