Prime Studio is seeking junior and mid-level industrial designers passionate about product design and solving problems creatively and collaboratively. The role requires 1+ years of design experience, with consultancy experience a major plus, solid sketching and verbal communication abilities, proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop, strong SolidWorks skills, and an understanding of designing for production. Designers should have a positive, productive mentality and be able to work collaboratively in person at the New York City studio three days a week, Tuesday through Thursday. The role offers the opportunity to work with global clients and start-ups from concept through launch, contribute to product design and packaging projects across varied categories, make an impact within a small team, and interact directly with clients. Compensation is $40 to $100 per hour, commensurate with experience.
