Captain guests through Amsterdam's canals, greet them at the quay, keep the boat guest-ready between trips, ensure everyone aboard is safe, share stories about the city, and provide an unforgettable experience. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid Small Boat Licence and VHF Radio Certificate, be reliable and comfortable taking responsibility, friendly and communicative with guests, available at least 2 days a week including weekends, and fluent in Dutch and English.
