Hands-on workshop covering traditional timber framing processes, including hewing or shaping raw logs, marking, cutting and assembling joints using the French Scribe method. Includes experience with authentic hand tools such as chisels, axes and saws. Suitable for owner-builders, carpenters and tradespeople, architects and designers, students, and enthusiasts. No prior experience is required. Held in Bowen Mountain, NSW. Comfortable work clothes and sturdy boots are recommended, and all tools and materials are provided.
