Provide technical advice and support to Thomasons project teams, including civil design guides, standards, systems and applicable engineering codes. Scope, prepare and manage civil engineering deliverables for small and medium-sized projects, assist with proposals, schedules and project fees, develop new client opportunities, maintain client relationships, mentor engineers and support continuous improvement. The role also involves promoting health and safety, innovation and sustainable design practices, and complying with quality and compliance processes. Candidates should have a Civil Engineering or related degree, 10 years or more of civil engineering design experience including drainage and hydraulic modelling, highway design, pavement design, ground analysis and remediation, plus experience in project management, contract administration, cost analysis or expert witness work. Chartered Engineer status and experience across project design phases and contractual environments are desirable.
