Provide psychiatric assessments and focused consultations within the scope of training and the registration issued by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Consultations are conducted collaboratively with a psychotherapist and primary care provider, with a supervising psychiatrist available for direct oversight and co-signature when required. The role focuses on psychiatric consultation, while ongoing therapy and follow-up are managed by the therapist and primary care provider. Scheduling is flexible and fully virtual outside residency program hours. The platform provides province-wide participation, real-time support, and an educationally enriching collaborative care model.
