Removal of wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, including local anaesthesia, optional nitrous oxide or intravenous sedation, tissue removal where required, bone removal for impacted teeth, tooth sectioning when necessary, extraction and stitches if needed. The procedure takes around 45 minutes on average. Aftercare includes avoiding vigorous rinsing, straws, alcohol, mouthwash containing alcohol and brushing near the operated area for the first 24 hours.
