Approved psychological counselling for eligible people impacted by violent crime, trauma, and violence across NSW. Support is available for primary victims, secondary victims, family victims of homicide, and victims of modern slavery. Sessions may address domestic violence, sexual assault, physical assault, child abuse, and other traumatic events. In-person and telehealth appointments are available, including child and adolescent trauma counselling. Eligible NSW residents may receive up to 22 hours of free counselling, with extensions available in complex or severe cases. A Counselling Approval Letter is required before booking the first session.
