Details.
Experienced veterinarians perform most surgeries for dogs and cats. Procedures take place under anesthesia with a preoperative examination, optional pre-anesthetic blood test, and continuous monitoring by a veterinary nurse using monitoring, ventilation, and gas anesthesia equipment. Pets recover under supervision in a heated room. Aftercare is reviewed verbally and in writing at pickup, with a wound check 7 to 14 days later when required. Pets must not eat or drink for at least 12 hours before surgery.
