VenaSeal Treatment

at Professor Mark Whiteley · London

Details.

A minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins caused by faulty saphenous veins. A small catheter delivers medical adhesive under ultrasound guidance to seal the affected vein without heat and usually with only one small injection of local anaesthetic. It is particularly suitable for patients wishing to avoid multiple injections, heat or compression stockings, although a full consultation with duplex ultrasound is required to confirm suitability. Usually completed in one treatment session, with most patients able to return to normal activities on the same day.
