Ultrasound imaging of blood vessels, arteries and associated structures, including deep vein thrombosis scans, peripheral artery scans, venous Doppler scans, venous insufficiency scans and carotid Doppler scans. The scan uses no ionising radiation or invasive imaging, and the ultrasound probe is run across the outside of the area being examined. No preparation is required. A medical practitioner referral is required for bulk billing. Contact reception when booking, as some vascular scans are specialised and require specific technicians.
