Details.
A neurostimulation service combining an FDA-approved VNS device with in-clinic physical therapy to improve hand and arm function for chronic ischemic stroke survivors who have not regained mobility after active rehabilitation. The device is implanted under the skin during an outpatient procedure, with patients discharged the same day. After a one-week recovery, therapy pairs VNS stimulation with specific rehabilitation tasks, and patients may use a magnet activator during exercises and routine activities at home. Surgery and rehabilitation are covered through most insurances. Consultation is available to determine suitability.
