A neurostimulation device used during in-clinic physical therapy to help stroke survivors improve upper limb function. The service includes outpatient surgical implantation of the device, followed by physical therapy after a one-week recovery period, with stimulation paired to specific rehabilitation tasks. Patients may also activate the system at home during rehabilitation exercises or routine activities. Intended for chronic ischemic stroke survivors who have completed physical therapy but continue to experience moderate to severe hand and arm impairment. Surgery and rehabilitation are covered through most insurances.
